ndrea is a rising LPGA Tour star, and her win debut in the Portland Classic 2022 was a memorable moment. Lee won on every level, which includes her college golf experience during her time at Standford University where she earned nine victories, and was ranked for 17 weeks at the top of the Women's Amateur in the World. She won the Mark H. McCormack medal in the year 2019 and was the top-ranked women's amateur at the end season. In the following year, she made the switch to professional. Andrea Lee was born in Los Angeles on 15 August 1998. James taught her the art of golf from the time she was five years old. She began competing in tournaments aged 8 and won 50 junior titles in the span of four years. She made it to the finals of the US Women's Open in Pinehurst No. Her dad was her caddie. She was 15 at the time of this. Her sponsors arranged for her to participate in the year 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour. She was however one shot short of the cut. Lee was a member of the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup Women's World Amateur Team Championship and the Junior Ryder Cup. In her first year at Stanford University in 2016, Lee became the school's most decorated player in the school's history. Lee won 9 titles over the course of three years. Lee left Stanford University to turn pro in the year 2019. Her amateur golf career saw her spend 17 weeks on leading the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee received with the 2019 Mark H. McCormack Medal after finishing the season with the highest ranking amateur. Lee played four rounds in succession and also one Albatross in her amateur. In her first season, she had two top-10 places. She finished 7th at the AIG Women's Open in 2020 which was held at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee's first LPGA Tour victory came in 2022 Portland Classic. She dedicated the win to her late grandfather Min who always considered me a winner and always believed in me. She said, "I was so grateful to him. And I know that he's looking over me." Previous competitions she participated in included soccer, taekwondo, and figure skating. Lee is also a fan of films, bowling and ski.
